Terms of Use
- Atreric is free to use and comes as it is.
- Your data is stored in your browser, so you're responsible for keeping backups.
- Use it lawfully and don't abuse it.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the Atreric Console, Docs, Tasks and Backup web apps (the "Service"), operated by Atreric. By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
2. Using Atreric
You may use the Service for personal or professional purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to disrupt or break it, probing it for vulnerabilities without permission, using it to break the law, or using it to infringe anyone's rights. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live.
3. Your content and your data
You own what you create. We don't claim any rights to it, and because it is stored in your browser we don't receive it. You are responsible for your content and for keeping copies. Browsers can clear site data, devices can fail, and restoring a backup can change what's on your device. Please back up what matters to you, and only restore backup files you made yourself.
4. Google Drive and other third-party services
Optional features, such as Google Drive backup, search engines, shortcuts, AI providers and Pack Hub, connect you to services we don't control. Their own terms and policies apply, and we aren't responsible for them. You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from Atreric Backup or in your Google Account settings.
5. Our content and branding
The Service, including its design, code and the Atreric name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you the right to copy it or use our branding, except as allowed by law or by a separate license we provide.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We don't guarantee that data will never be lost.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it (which may be zero) and USD $50. Some places don't allow certain limits, so these may not apply to you in full.
8. Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
